1940s Knitted Twin Set Pattern – Striped V-Neck Jumper & Cardigan

A lovely 1940s twin set with a little extra detail. The short-sleeved jumper has a contrasting striped V-shaped design across the front, while the plain cardigan makes a useful companion. Both feature gently puffed shoulders, with the sleeve tops pleated into the armholes to give that distinctive 1940s shape.

A practical set to wear together or separately, and a great way to introduce a little colour into your knitting. Originally knitted in Patons Beehive Fingering 3-ply wool.

Tension: 7½ stitches to 1 inch, measured over unstretched knitting.

Finished Measurements: Jumper: 38 inches around at underarm – Cardigan: 39 inches around at underarm
