A useful little 1940s pullover designed to be worn over a blouse, with a V neckline, fitted waist and ribbed borders. It’s a straightforward design that still looks very wearable today and would work particularly well as an everyday layering piece.
Originally knitted in 3-ply yarn on No. 9 and No. 11 needles. You could also consider a modern 4-ply, but always check your tension first and change needle size if needed to obtain the correct gauge.

Width all round underarms: 32 ins
Length from top of shoulder: 19 ins
