1942 Vintage Skirt Sewing Pattern | 40s Six Panel Gored Skirt | Waist 26” (66cm)

An original 1942 six-panel skirt sewing pattern with two elegant vintage variations. Style 1
features stitched and pressed seams for a smart mock pleated effect, finished with belt
carriers at the waist. Style 2 is a classic gored skirt with a neat waistband for a clean
tailored look.

Sized for a 26” waist (66cm) and 35” hips (89cm), with a finished length of 27½” (70cm).

Requires approximately 1⅝ yards (1.5 metres) of skirt-weight fabric. The pattern is suitable
for a variety of materials including  linen, wool blends, suiting, tweeds etc.

A simple and flattering 1940s design that is easy to sew, making it ideal for beginners
and experienced vintage dressmakers alike.
