1940s Knitting Pattern Cami-knickers – Vintage One Piece Lingerie (Bust 34)

These 1940s cami-knickers, also known as step-ins, are an easy and practical knit with
a soft, flexible fit. The ribbed waist allows for comfortable shaping, while the ribbon
straps and adjustable leg length give you control over the final finish.

Originally designed in rayon, they can be worked in a modern equivalent such as a
3–4 ply bamboo cotton blend or 100% mercerised cotton, giving a smooth,
lightweight result.

The tension is 7 stitches to one inch using No. 10 needles (3.25mm UK / 3 US), helping
you achieve the correct fit and structure.

You will need approximately 8 oz (230g) of 4 ply yarn, a pair of No. 10 (3.25mm) and
No. 12 (2.75mm) needles, a crochet hook, four small buttons, and ribbon for the
straps.
