1950s Rockabilly Sweater Knitting Pattern – Vintage Pin Up Fitted Jumper (Retro 50s Style)

Just like the jumpers worn in the mid-1950s, paired with circle skirts and layers of petticoats,
these designs have that easy, flattering shape that never really goes out of style. They’re all
worked in double knitting yarn, so they knit up quickly and feel just right for everyday wear
or a full vintage look.

Designed to fit a 33–36 inch bust.

The dark blue jumper uses approximately 200g of DK yarn, with 5.5mm and 3.75mm needles,
working to a tension of 4½ stitches and 6 rows per inch. The green version requires around
170g, using 6mm and 4mm needles, with a tension of 4 stitches and 5½ rows per inch. The
lilac jumper also uses about 170g of DK, knitted on 4.5mm and 3.75mm needles, with a
slightly finer tension of 5 stitches and 6½ rows per inch.
