A lovely 1930s tunic dress pattern, worked as a two-piece set with a skirt and matching tunic.
The design has that easy, understated elegance of the period, with a clean line that wears
beautifully.
Originally knitted in Minerva Boucle, a lace weight yarn, on 2.25 mm circular needles, it does
take a little practice to get comfortable working in the round with such fine yarn. It’s best suited
to knitters with some experience, but very rewarding once you find your rhythm.
The pattern includes guidance for adjusting the size, and is written for a 34 inch bust (US vintage
size 16), with a tension of 7 stitches per inch.
