This 1953 twin set knitting pattern includes a sweater and matching cardigan in three larger bust sizes: 37, 39 and 41 inches.

Both pieces feature slim V-shaped panels through the front, continuing into a V neckline and giving the set its distinctive shape. The sweater and cardigan can be worn together as a traditional twin set or separately.

Originally knitted in Patons Beehive Fingering 3-ply, the pattern uses No. 11 and No. 12 needles. You’ll need approximately 16–17 oz (454–484 g) of yarn, depending on the size you are making.

The stated tension is 8 stitches and 10 rows to one inch.

To fit bust: 37, 39 or 41 inches.
