Description
A lovely Fair Isle Jacket from 1942, with a curved hem, wide borders and fastened with three large buttons.
It’s mainly worked in Paton’s Beehive Fingering 4 ply and a contrast colour in either Cairn ‘Rimple’ Wool or
Paton’s Super Boucelet (for the Fair Isle), on 9 and 10 needles (old UK). There’s a simple chart to follow
for the Fair Isle pattern.
- Tension is: 7 sts to an inch over pattern
- Measurements: To fit a 34-36 inch Bust. Length from top of shoulders 24 inches, sleeve seam 19 inches.
