Description

A very simple-to-knit jumper from 1935. Made in white crepe wool, with scarlet buttons adorning the
tabs at the front neck and sleeve edges. The front and back are identical. Tabs are formed by picking
up stitches at the front neck and sleeve edges, then knitting to the required size. The collar is knitted
in three separate pieces and sewn to the neckline afterward.

There are only two pattern rows, making it very easy to knit.

Measurements: 34 inch bust, 18 inch length, 6 inch sleeve seam.

The original yarn was 6 oz (171g) Paton’s Super Crepe in white.
Needles required: One pair each of No. 9 (3.75mm) and No. 11 (3mm).
Buttons: 4 large and 6 small in scarlet.

Tension: 7 stitches to the inch
