Stylish 1930’s Dress with Contrasting Trim and Collar PDF Knitting Pattern

10 in stock

A really lovely Frock from the late 1930’s by Jaeger.
It’s worked on two needles so nothing complicated.
It’s worked in Jaeger ‘Kristal Fleck’ on No. 9 (3.75) and
11 (3.00) needles. It’s worked from the hem upwards.

I can’t find any reference to this yarn so my best
guess would be a 3 ply. (But many vintage 3 plies
were a lot thicker so you could also try 4 ply) Always
check the tension first, before you commit to any yarn.

You’ll need approx 14oz (approx 400g) depending on
the yarn you decide to use, always buy more when
knitting vintage garments as the original yarn ball
length is unknown.

TENSION 15 sts. to two inches in width and 10 rows
to one inch in depth.

Size: Length from shoulder at armhole edge 41 inches.
Width all round under the arms 32 inches, stretching
to fit. 34 inch Bust. Length of sleeve seam 6.5 inches
including cuff.

The pattern comes as one easy to download
and print PDF
