Description
Child’s sweater from 1946 worked in a pretty butterfly stitch.
The yarn used was 3 ply fingering on No. 9 and 11 needles.
You will need 3oz approx 90g 3 ply main colour and a small
amount of contrast for the lacing.
Measurements: to fit a 22-24 inch chest.
Length from shoulder 12.5 inches – Sleeve seam 1.75 inches
The needles are old sizes so I have included a conversion
chart for reference to modern sizes.
