Description
This pretty dress from 1970 is worked by creating 18
flower motifs and then sewing 9 of them together to
make the front and back skirt. You then rejoin the yarn
to a skirt piece and work the respective bodices.
Each motif measures 7 inches square.
The original yarn used was Regency Banine knitting
wool on a 4.50mm Hook. I can’t find any reference to
this yarn, so going on hook size alone would say
it’s most likely D.K.
TENSION: Each motif measures 7ins. square; 4.5 sts.
to 1 inch in width over bodice pattern using 4.50mm
Hook
