1960’s Slim Skirt and Jacket Knitting Pattern – PDF Instant Download

A slim skirted lined suit from the early 1960’s with strands of green
and blue 4 ply worked together in moss stitch to give a tweed effect.
Ribbon is threaded through Collar, cuffs and pockets. The yarn used
was Emu 4 ply Super Crepe on No. 10 and 8 needles. The yarn is
worked double in the two colours and you will also need lining
material to get the fished look.

Tension: 5 sts. and 9 roes to one inch.

Materials: 20-23oz (567-652g) of each colour (Blue and Green)
depending on size worked.
Pair each No. 10 and 8 needles
A medium size crochet hook
5 Buttons
Ribbon for trimming jacket
Facing ribbon
3.5 yards of lining material (36in. wide)

Jacket to fit 34 – 36 or 38 ins. Bust
Skirt to fit 36 – 38 or 40 ins. Hip – Length 26 ins.

The needles are old English sizes, so I have included a helpful
conversion chart
