1950s Classic Sweater – Vintage Knitting Pattern- PDF Instant Download
The main part of the sweater is in stocking stitch and the little cross
over collar with its single button trimming is in ribbing. The sweater
has a zip fastening at the back. It’s worked in 2-ply fingering on No. 12
and 14 needles. You could try 3/4-ply but check tension first and adjust
needle size if necessary.
Measurements: 3 sizes to fit;
30 – 32-inch Bust – Length 19.5 inches
34 – 36-inch Bust – Length 20 inches
38 – 40-inch Bust – Length 20.5 inches
Sleeve seam all sizes 18 inches
The needles are old sizes so I have included a conversion chart for
reference to modern sizes.
