Description
Another thrifty wartime knit. This one is worked in a variety of moss
stitch with stocking stitch stripes, that are worked with one small
needle and one large needle to give a slightly raised effect. The
yarn is Patons Beehive 2ply fingering on No. 10 (3.25) and 12 (2.75)
needles and one No. 4 (6.00) needle for the stripes
Tension is 8 sts. to an inch over double moss stitch. You could also
try 3 ply but always Make a tension square and check before starting
to knit.
Measurements to fit: 31-33 inch Bust
The needles are old sizes so I have included a conversion chart
for reference to modern sizes.
