Description
Simple Shirt-waist dress from the 1940’s wartime era.
It was difficult to get anything including wool due to
rationing. So the silhouette of dresses got slimmer this
one being a good example. Knitted mainly in rib it should
hold its shape beautifully.
Materials needed
16oz (455g) of 3-ply
1 Pair each of No. 12 and No.14 knitting needles
Measurements:
Bust 34 inches
Length 39.5 inches
Sleeve seam 5 inches
The needles are old sizes so I have included a
conversion chart for reference.
