Description
This was advertised as Three Jumpers for 6 coupons,
as it was a coupon saving pattern from the 1940’s
wartime rationing era.
You knit three halves in contrasting colours, they
chose grey, blue and red. The idea was to inter-
change the halves so it looked like you were wearing
a new sweater every time. It only took 12oz to knit
all three which was worth about 6 coupons.
The matching Turban is made on the quick same
quick change principle, with a basic crown and
interchangeable scarves and you will need an
extra 3oz to knit.
MATERIALS: 4oz of Femina Botany fingering 4 ply
in each colour. Pair each No. 10 and 12 (old Uk sizes)
needles.
MEASUREMENTS: 34-36ins. Bust: Length from top
of shoulder 19ins. and sleeve seam 8ins.
The needles are old U.K sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help with metric and US sizes
The pattern comes as one easy to download
and print PDF
