Description
From 1942 comes this Duster check Blouse originally knitted in grey,
red and white and worked throughout in stocking stitch with ribbed
welts and neckband. An especially good thrifty rationing design.
The yarn was Patons Super or Beehive Scotch fingering 4 ply and
you will need 10oz (approx 290g) of grey, 2oz (approx 60g) each of
red and white. A pair each of No. 9 (3.75mm) and 8 (4mm) needles.
A No. 10 (3.25mm) crochet hook and 5 buttons.
TENSION: 6.5 sts. to an inch
Measurements to fit: 32/34 Bust
Length 19.5 inches
Sleeve seam: 18. 5 ins
The needles are old sizes so I have included a conversion
chart for reference to modern sizes.
