Description
A really easy to knit Dress with a button front
bodice, pert little collar, short or long sleeves,
skirt in 4 panels with sewn on pockets, a side
placket fastening and matching belt
The whole thing is worked in stocking stitch
and the original colours were brown and maize
It’s worked in 3 ply fingering and you will need
16 or 18 skeins of main color, 4 skeins of contrast,
which were probably 1 oz in weight, which would
make the total amount needed 20 ozs. (567g) or
22 ozs. (624g) depending on sleeve length. Pair
of No. 10 (3.25mm) needles. I buckle for the belt,
press studs and buttons
To Fit a 32-34 inch Bust.
TENSION: 7sts. and 9 rows to one inch
The needles are old U.K sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help with modern and US sizes
