1940’s Tuffle Cardigan Knitting Pattern PDF Instant download

92 in stock

From the late Forties this little cardigan would be perfect to wear with
a wiggle skirt, full skirt or cut offs. It’s worked in something called
Dewhurst’s Tuffle Yarn which came in hanks. I haven’t found any
reference to this yarn so far. The cardigan is knitted on No. 12 needles,
so going on this alone would say that it is a 3/4ply with a tension of
9 sts. x 15 rows to one inch.

I would guess you wouldn’t need more than 3/400g to knit this one,
but this is just guess, please check yourself.

To fit:
Bust 34-36 ins.
Back of neck to lower edge 21.5 ins.

The needles are old sizes so I have included a conversion chart for
reference to modern sizes.

The pattern comes as one easy to download and print PDF
