Description
Vintage ladies turban pattern from the early 1940s
wartime era. Great for re-enactment weekends or
just as a nice turban to wear on your bad hair days!
Easy to make with clear instructions (referred to as
the recipe) The original yarn used was CAIRN Rimple
(boucle) or you could just use ordinary D.K. A great
pattern for using up all your scraps.
From the Ravelry site is says that this yarn was a Light
D.K Boucle 11 wpi 69 yards (63 meters) to the 28 gram
(0.99 ounces) ball
Needle size 7 old UK or US (4.5mm)
The needles are old sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help
