Description

1940’s Thrift Pattern for Summer Gloves and a matching Bag. The
Gloves are worked on 2 needles so not complicated and the Bag
is lined with canvas and cardboard (you could replace with
plastic canvas) It has a pointed flap that fastens with a loop and
button.

They are both worked in Coarse Rayon which to be honest I’ve
had no result finding any reference to. So would assume that it
was a 3 or 4 ply. Needle size No. 9 (3.75) and 12 (2.75)

TENSION 6 1/2 sts. to 1 inch on No 9 (3.75) needles

Gloves to fit an average hand
Bag 10 x 8 ins

The needles are old sizes so I have included a conversion chart
for reference to modern sizes.

The pattern sheet comes in A4 format and all you need to do
is print and use.
