1940’s Ladies knitted Skirts. Each design is in a different size.
A is 37ins. Hip: B is 39ins Hip: C is 41ins Hip. They are all worked
in 4 ply on 2 needles.
Original yarn used: Patons Purple Heather Fingering 4 ply.
11oz. (312g) for A, 12oz (341g) each for B and C. Pair of
No. 9 (3.75) needles.
Tension: about 7 sts. to 1 inch
The needles are old sizes so I have included a conversion chart for
reference to modern sizes.
