1940’s Pretty Embroidered Bolero PDF Knitting Pattern Bust 34-36

This lovely embroidered bolero will dress up the
simplest dress. It’s very easy to knit, being entirely
worked in stocking stitch with ribbed borders.
You can leave it plain or use the embroidery design
for the pretty clematis flowers and leaves.

The original colours used were hyacinth blue for
the bolero with the flowers and leaves in shades
of purple and green

The original yarn used was 4 ozs (approx 114g)
W.B Melody knitting 3 ply in main colour.
Pair each No. 9 and 12 (Old UK) needles.
Small amounts of Embroidery wool and silks for
the flowers

To Fit a 34-36 inch Bust.

TENSION: 7 sts. to 1 inch in width and 9 rows to
1 inch in depth measured over stocking stitch

The needles are old U.K sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help with metric and US sizes
