Description
Everyone loves a Bolero! The design takes only
6oz (175g) of 4 ply and can be knitted fairly
quickly. The pattern also gives instructions on
how to make your own shoulder pads for the
Bolero.
No actual bust size is given but the following
measurements for the Bolero are:
Armpit to armpit across the back 18 inches.
Shoulder to lower edge for the back 15 inches
Armpit to front edge 9.5 inches.
Shoulder to lower edge for the front 16 inches
Side seam 9 inches
Sleeve seam 6 inches.
Tension: 6.5 sts. to the inch in width on stocking
stitch.
The needles are old sizes so I have included a
conversion chart for reference to modern sizes.
