1940’s Pixie Hood and matching Gloves PDF Knitting Pattern

A Cosy set for cold days. The Hood and scarf are
ribbed and the gloves are in plain knitting with the
crochet stripes added afterwards. The hood is lightly
padded around the face and the gloves are padded
around the wrists. If you don’t crochet you can always
just leave the stripes out.

The original yarn used was Sirdar Super Shetland
wool 3 ply. You will need approx 4 ozs. for the Hood
and 2 ozs. for the gloves and about half an ounce of
white for the stripes. A pair of No. 10 (3.25) needles,
a set of four No. 13 (2.25) double point needles for
the gloves and a No. 10 (3.25) crochet hook.

TENSION: 12 sts. to the inch in width
