Men’s Sports shirt knitted in basic fair isle, which
has you slipping the stitches on some rows to the
opposite end of double point needles to work on
same side again, simple and effective without the
complication of full on fair isle. The shoulder yokes,
collar, edges and placket are in the dark shade in

The yarn used was 3 ply and you will need approx
5 oz (142g) of a dark shade and 4 0z. (114g) of a light
shade, 2 No. 9 (3.75m) needles pointed at both ends
and a pair of No. 12 (2.75mm) needles.

TENSION 7 sts. to the inch

Measurements to fit:
Chest: 40 ins.
Length 27 ins
Sleeve seam 6ins.

The needles are old sizes so I have included a conversion
chart to help
