Description

Lovely contrast Pussy Bow blouse from the 1940s
that’s ideal for using up those balls of wool where
you don’t quite have enough for a whole garment
but you have two shades leftover from something
else.

It’s worked in reverse stocking stitch with the back,
front yokes and sleeves worked in a dark shade and
the fronts in a light shade with a crocheted trim. If
you don’t crochet you could just leave the trim off
or add a fabric one instead. The collar is worked in
single rib.

To Fit a 32 inch Bust.

The original yarn was 4 ozs (114g) dark shade
and 3 ozs. (86g) light shade of Patons Beehive
Fingering 3 ply (Patonised shrink resist) A pair
each No.10 (3.25mm) and No. 12 (2.75mm)
needles. 9 Buttons and a medium size crochet
hook for finishing.

TENSION 7.5 sts. to an inch on No. 10 (3.25mm)
