Description
1940s Attractive Jumper-Cardigan. Mainly worked
in stocking-stitch with unusual lacy stripes.
It measures 35.5 inches around at underarm
when fastened.
The original yarn used was: 6 ozs. Sirdar Super
Shetland Wool 3 ply. A Pair of No. 9 (3.75mm)
and No. 12 (2.75mm) needles. 5 Buttons.
TENSION: 15 sts. to 2-inches and 9 rows to 1-inch
measured over the stocking-stitch.
The needles are old U.K sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help
