1940’s Ladies Stylish Trilby Style Hat PDF Knitting Pattern

A stylish Hat from 1940. It has a 4 part crown and
turned up brim with an optional feather.

It was worked in Patons Coral wool which was a
slubbed D.K in 61% cotton and 39% Acrylic,
according to Ravelry.

You will need 4 ozs. (114g) of D.K. Pair No.9 (3.75mm)
needles. Stiffening for the crown and brim and a
piece of lining to match. 0.75m of Petersham ribbon
1 inch (25mm) wide, a feather.

TENSION: 4 sts. to 1 inch after pressing.

22 inches round head, slightly adjustable.

The hooks are old UK sizes so I have included a
conversion to help.
