Description

A Charming Sweater in three colours, with a repeat
pattern in simple Fair Isle. The original garment was
knitted in Flannel grey with the stripes of the Fair Isle
alternately in red and blue. It can be fastened on the
left shoulder with buttons and loops or will easily pull
over the head without any extra opening if neck edge
is cast off loosely.

The are no charts just written instructions to follow
for the Fair Isle.

The original yarn used was Copley’s 3 ply Excelsior
Wool

You will need approx 5 oz in grey, 1 oz each of navy
and red.Pair each of No. 10, 12 and 13 needles (old UK)

To Fit a 33-36 inch Bust.

TENSION: 17 sts. to 2 inches and 9 rows to 1 inch over
patterned parts

The needles are old U.K sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help with modern and US sizes
