Description
1940’s Button-up Jumper, knitted in a check Fair Isle pattern on
shirt-blouse lines. It was originally worked in yellow and navy
blue Sirdar Super Shetland wool 3 ply (could use 4 ply instead
check tension first).
To fit a 36 ins. Bust: Length from shoulder 17 inches and Sleeve
seam approx 18 ins.
You will need 6 oz (171g) of a dark shade and 4oz (114g) of a light
shade. Pair each of No. 12 and 8 needles (Old UK size)
Tension: over the pattern after pressing; 7sts. to 1 inch in width
and 30 rows to 3.5 inches in depth.
The needles are old U.K sizes so I have included a conversion chart
to help with modern and US sizes
The pattern comes as one easy to download and print PDF
