Description
A Plain and Practical cardigan from 1943. It’s worked
in stocking stitch with pockets, contrasting moss
stitch yokes front and back and separate ribbed
bands that trim the bottom of the yokes and are
added after.
You will also need a little crochet knowledge to
finish the moss stitch neckline.
The original yarn used was 8 ozs. (227g) Patons
Beehive Fingering 3-ply in dark shade and 2 ozs.
(57g) in a light contrast shade. A pair each
No.10 (3.25mm) and No. 12 (2.75mm)

conversion chart to help.
