Description
A simple and easy to make Cardigan suit from
the 1940’s. The cardigan is V-neck and buttons
low and the skirt is worked in 4 pieces on 2
needles. There is also a Dickie blouse front
included with the pattern.
Measurements to fit: Cardigan 36 inch Bust:
Skirt 38 Hip
The original yarn used was Copley’s 3 ply ‘Excelsior’
wool. You will need 8oz (approx 230g) of yarn for
the Cardigan, 9oz (approx 260g) for the skirt and
1.5oz (approx 50g) for the Dickie Blouse front.
Needle size No. 10 and 12 (old UK) and you will also
need a No.14 (old UK) crochet hook for finishing
TENSION: 7.5 sts. and 9.5 rows to 1 inch
