1940’s Button-up Cardigan Jacket PDF Knitting Pattern

This trim button up Jacket, is knitted in a bold
Basket stitch. It fits beautifully and can be worn
over dresses as a cardigan, or as a jumper
(sweater) with a skirt. The edges are finished
with double crochet.

The original yarn used was Patons Beehive
fingering 3 ply 207 yards (189 meters) Unit
weight 28 grams (0.99 ounces) to the ball.

You’ll need approx 9oz (256g) A Pair No. 10
(old UK) 3.25mm needles, 7 button moulds
and a medium crochet hook.

Measurement: to fit a 32-33 ins. Bust

The needles are old sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help
