Description
Simple 1940’s sweater worked in Patons Super
Boucelet, in two shades with a black garter
stitch stripe to break the colors. It buttons at
both shoulders and has shoulder pads to give
that iconic 1940’s look.
Patons Super Boucelet is a vintage discontinued
yarn so you will need to find an alternative/
similar yarn
Yarn need 10oz (approx 300g) Boucle type
yarn 3/4 ply. Pair each No. 10 (3.25) and No.
12 (2.75) needles
TENSION 7 sts. to an inch
Measurements to fit:
34-36 inch Bust. Length from top of shoulder
20 inches. Sleeve seam 5 inches
The needles are old sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help
