1940’s Bolero in 2 sizes knitted in 3 ply on No. 9
needles. You could try 4 ply adjusting needle
size and tension. The instructions are given
for the short sleeve version.
Measurements to fit:
Width all round at underarm 38 (40) ins
Length from top of shoulder 18 (19) ins
Length of short sleeve seam 5 (5.5) ins
Length of long sleeve seam 17.5 (18) ins
The needles are old sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help
