Description

Every woman needs at least one winter suit in her
1937 wardrobe. The skirt of this chic suit is knitted
in a pleated rib that hangs beautifully. The Jacket
is button through with a scarf collar that ties.

It was worked in Sirdar Kashia which was probably
a 4-ply on No. 9 (3.75mm) and 11 (3.00mm) needles
You will also need a crochet hook for the finishing.

There is a modern Sirdar Kashia which is a bulky
yarn, please do not mistake that for this vintage
yarn which is totally different.

The whole outfit takes 27 oz. or 766g.

Please don’t take my word for it always check with
various yarns to see which one works best to the
tension given.

Measurement:
Jacket: Across the back at underarms 18.5 ins.
across each front 10 ins. Skirt: Round the waist
when fastened and without stretching the rib,
29 ins.

The needles are old sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help
