Description

This 1930’s beautifully fitting jumper-jacket is
knitted in stocking-stitch trimmed with moss
stitch. The yarn used was Patons Totum wool
which was a D.K weight.

MATERIALS: 12 oz (approx 340g) Patons Totum
knitting wool (D.K) and a small quantity of Super
or Scotch fingering 3 ply in contrasting shade
for covering button moulds: one pair of No. 11,
No. 7 and No. 4 knitting needles and 5
button moulds.

TENSION: 13 sts. to every 3 ins. in width and 11
rows to every 2 ins. in
depth on No. 4 needles over stocking-stitch

MEASUREMENTS: Coat will measure 35.5 ins. all
round underarm when closed But allowing for
stretch will fit up to a 37 ins. Bust.
