Description
A really stylish raglan sleeve jumper from the 1930’s.
it’s worked throughout in cable with a ribbed yoke
that is worked on 4 needles that neatly joins the
pieces together. You can make this one with short
sleeves as shown or long sleeves. you will need a
little crochet knowledge to finish the bottom of
the sleeves.
When finished you trim with buttons as shown in
the image.
The original yarn used was Munrospun Jubilee wool
which was a 4 ply. 6 ozs. (approx 170g) for the short
sleeve version or 8 ozs. (approx 226g) for the long
sleeve. Pair each No. 9 (3.75mm) and 11 (3mm) needles.
A set of 4 double point needles No. 10 (3.25mm) and
No. 11 (3mm) for the yoke
TENSION: 8.5 sts. to an inch
The needles are old U.K sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help
