Description
1930’s Smart Dress comprising of a Blouse and Skirt. The Blouse
is worked on 2 needles the Skirt on a circular needle. When working
on a circular needle you need to constantly correct to make sure
the yarn doesn’t twist. You will also need to know crochet as it’s used
to finish the edges. Worked in a combination of Fleisher’s Magic Angel
Crepe and Fleisher’s French Zephyr. As far as I can find out the Angel
Crepe was a 4 ply and the Zephyr a 3 ply.
Tension Blouse – 6 sts. – I inch – 27 rows = 2 inch
Tension Skirt – 8 sts. – I inch – 12 rounds = 1 inch
Size to fit:
16 – 34 inch Bust
