The sweater is mainly worked in stocking stitch with a
lace pattern that runs up each side on the front, yokes
front and back and up sleeves. You can knit it with either
short or long sleeves and you will need some crochet
knowledge for finishing the neckline. It has two flowers
you attach either side of the front neck open and a
matching belt with large buckle.

The original yarn used was 7 ozs. (approx 200g)of 3 ply
wool for short sleeves and 9 ozs. (approx 256g) for long
sleeves.The original used was ROSE MARIE 3 ply Botany
wool. A pair each No. 9 (3.75mm) and No. 12 (2.75mm)
A crochet hook. A hook fastener and a buckle for the belt.

TENSION: 6.5 sts. and 8.5 rows to an inch measured
over stocking stitch

The needles are old U.K sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help with modern and US sizes
