Description
A simple Sweater with Tartan embroideries in
red, green, royal blue and yellow, which are
stitched on afterwards.
The knitting is just stocking stitch, quickly and
easily done and the embroidery is simple
running stitch working to the ribs of the
knitting.
The original yarn used was: Ramada 3 ply wool.
7 ozs. (200g) white and 1 oz (29g) each of Red,
Green, Royal blue and Yellow. A pair of No. 11
(3.mm) needles and a set of 4 No. 12 (2.75mm)
(double pointed) for the neckband.
To Fit a: 34
TENSION: 7.5 sts. to an inch and 10 rows
The needles are old U.K sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help.
