1930s PDF Knitting Pattern for Two V-Neck Jumpers Bust 36

Two Jumpers from the 1930s. Both are V-neck, one
with a frill around the neck and sleeve edges, the
other plain with pinstripes along the welts and
neckline. Both are worked in stocking stitch with
the exception of the frills which are in a simple

The original yarn used for both was Curlew Knop
yarn, which I think was about an Aran weight yarn.
This is just a guess as I can find no reference to the
weight and am going on needle size and tension.

You will need for the Jumper with frills: 8 ozs (approx
227g) Knop yarn. A Pair each No. 4 (7.5mm), No.7
(4.5mm), and No. 10 (3.25mm) needles and for the
Striped Jumper 8 ozs Knop yarn (approx 227g) and
1 oz. (29g) of 4-ply. A pair each No. 10 (3.25mm)
and No.7 (4.5mm) needles.
