Description
A lacy Crochet Evening dress from the late 1930’s.
The front and back are the same and you add
velvet ribbon for the shoulder ties.The ruffle was
added after giving it the off the shoulder look.
It was worked in Coats Knit Cro-sheen which was a
4 ply cotton on a No. 4 (old size) hook.
Materials needed
17-21 Balls of main colour
Vintage Knit-Cro-Sheen was available in 175 yard,
200 yard, and 250 yard balls.
Hook was a No. 8 (4mm)
Measurements:
Bust 36 ins.
The needles are old sizes so I have included a
conversion chart to help with Old to metric
and US sizes
