Description

An unusual Jumper from 1933. The openwork
appearance is achieved by using thick and thin
needles alternately. The main body of the jumper
is worked in stocking stitch, with the rust colored
stripes, tight cuffs and turn down collar in fancy
garter stitch. The yoke is circular and worked on
three needles like a sock.

The original yarn was Viyella lace weight and
you will need 3 ozs. (86g) main shade and 1 oz.
(29g) of contrast. 3 No. 0 (8mm) pointed at both
ends and a set of 4 No. 12 (2.75mm) double pointed
needles

To Fit a: 34 Bust

TENSION: 7 sts. to one inch – 12 rows to 2 inches

conversion chart to help.
