Description
A Knitted Sun-suit for a Boy or Girl from 1934. It’s worked
in Baldwin and Walker’s ‘Ladyship’ Holiday Wool and No. 10
(3.25mm) needles. There are no references to this wool so
going on needle size alone it was probably a 3 ply maybe
a 4 ply and you will need 2oz (56g) main colour and 1oz
(28g) of second colour.
TENSION: Over moss stitch is 13 sts. to 2 ins. in width
The child wearing the Sun-suit is age 41/2
The needles are old sizes so I have included a conversion
chart for reference to modern sizes.
