1930’s Jumper with Yoke and neck Flap PDF Knitting Pattern

45 in stock

I really like this one, lots of interest going on
in the design. It’s a round neck that’s worked
in three different patterns. Rib for the welts, a
reverse stocking stitch for the main stitch, with
either raised bands on the sleeves or bobble
tufts on the front and back. it’s finished with
a buttoned flap at the front.

The yarn used was called Golden Eagle
‘Hastenit’ and the only reference I can find
on it is from another knitting pattern from
the time which said it was a 2 ply wool.

Must have been a specialty wool as the tension
suggests it’s much thicker. I’m going to investigate
this one further and do a test square and update

The whole thing is worked on No. 6 (5mm)
needles and the tension is 10 sts. and 15 rows
to 2 inches.

You will need approx 14 oz. or 400g of yarn.

To fit bust 32-33 ins.

I’ve included a simple needle and hook conversion
chart to help with the old or US sizes

The PDF Pattern is easy to download and print
