Description

From 1935 this Autumn Sweater is made in
contrasting colours and has a fancy basque
at the centre front. The basque, cuffs and
the neck are worked in a plain colour and
the rest in the flecked yarn that was
becoming popular at the time.

Original yarns used were: For the plain yarn
Lavenda 3 ply and Listers Webfleck Fancy
Knitting which is probably a 3-4 ply. (no
reference found for this yarn)

You’ll need 8 ozs (approx 230g) of the Listers
Webfleck (Tweed) and 2 oz (approx 60g) of the
plain Lavenda 3 ply. Pair of each 10 and 12
needles and a set of 4 No. 10 Double point
needles for the neckline

TENSION: 10 rows and 7 sts. to one inch

Size is for a 36 Bust.
