made with or without the petticoat part. Nice
and simple to make with diagrams to show
where the corresponding notches and seams
should be and with some instructions on the
actual pattern pieces, which are easy to follow.
There are also some how to pages which cover
things like seams, tailor’s tacks etc.
The pattern is Vintage size 16 which is Bust 34 ins
You could easily grade this pattern up or down as
it is very basic in shape.
There are no fabric suggestions with this pattern,
so lingerie satin, silk, pongee, lightweight cottons
or chiffon would work well.
The updated and redrafted pattern comes with
minimal instructions in the form of a diagrams. As
the step by step instructions you get now were not
yet offered on these early patterns, just a few on
the actual pattern pieces.
